PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite machine whereby a display lamp for informing a user about the arrival of a facsimile communication can be provided on a unit with a display apparatus and which can inform a user located at a place remote from the composite machine about the arrival of the facsimile communication. SOLUTION: In the composite machine provided with the unit including the display apparatus, the unit is provided with the display lamp for informing the user about the arrival of the facsimile communication, and the unit is fitted to a unit fitting part of a composite machine main body in a way that the state position of a display screen of the display apparatus is freely changed between a state position wherein the display screen of the display apparatus is directed almost upward and provides ease of viewing display contents by the user when the user operates the composite machine and a state position wherein the display screen of the display apparatus is directed almost forwards and provides ease of viewing display contents by the user from a place apart from the composite machine main body.
