PURPOSE:To obtain a bright and stable final picture by holding a picture before an X ray is stopped in a main memory as it is without transferring the contents of a sub-memory to a main memory since the average value of the video signal of the picture does not reach a set value when an X ray radiation is stopped on the way of the constitution of one screen. CONSTITUTION:During a fluoroscopic operation, an average voltage VA is 1a higher than the set voltage VS excluding the leading time of the start of the operation of a TV camera V (VA>VS), the contents of the memory of the sub-memory 3 are successively transferred to the main memory 4. Accordingly, the contents of the main memory 4 are rewritten by the latest contents. When the X ray is stopped (fluoroscopic operation is completed), the average voltage VA is lowered to go to VA<VS, so that a transfer signal is not generated. Accordingly, the transfer to the main memory 4 of the contents of the sub- memory 3 is stopped to stop the rewriting of the contents of the main memory 4 are contents of the memory immediately before it is held in the main memory 4.
