PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing device and a television receiving device for allowing even young children and old people to easily and simply switch inputs and broadcast channels. SOLUTION: The video processing device allows users to selectively specify any video from among a plurality of video input sources and to input the specified video signal. The video processing device has an operation button for switching between video input sources. When the operation button is pressed for a time shorter than a predetermined time, the video input sources are switched one time. When the operation button is continued to be pressed for a time longer than the predetermined time, a display unit is caused to display a list 40 of video input sources and to move a selection frame 41 in the displayed list 40. When the button is released, the video input sources are switched such that a video signal from the video input sources that is selected in the displayed list 40 is inputted, and then the switching processing is terminated.
