PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for preventing a recording medium from being damaged on insertion between a movable part which is freely moved inside/outside a device main body and an opening for inserting/ejecting the movable part. SOLUTION: A car navigation system 1 as an electronic device is provided with a device main body 2, a display unit 3, a rotary roller 5, and a sound generation part 6. In the front 2c of the device main body 2, an opening 2a for inserting/ejecting the display unit 3 and an insertion port 2b for inserting/ejecting a CD are provided. The rotary roller 5 is freely rotatably provided between the opening 2a and the insertion part 2b. The sound generation part 6 generates a sound upon rotation of the rotary roller 5.
