PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock structure for vehicle seat backs devised so as to securely connect lock release knobs with inexpensive and light connection rods made of synthetic resin. SOLUTION: First lock projections 20f are penetrated through through holes 19d of bezels 19, together with end parts 20a of the synthetic resin connection rods 20. Then, when insertion holes 7a of lower cylindrical parts 7d of the lock release knobs 7 are inserted to the end parts 20a of the connection rods 20, the first lock projections 20f are inserted into slits 7e while abutting and stopped on inner edge parts of the through holes 19d of the bezels 19, and the lower cylindrical parts 7d can be inserted into the through holes 19d while the end parts 20a are press-fitted to the insertion holes 7a. At the time of assembling, since the connection rods 20 abut on and are stopped by the inner edge parts of the through holes 19d of the bezels 19 to prevent lowering of the connection rods 20, even when compression load is applied to the connection rods 20 by press fitting force of the lock release knobs 7, deformation of the synthetic resin connection rods 20 is prevented.
