PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device having a protrusion and retraction member protruded outside/retracted inside a storage space, operated with a good appearance, prevented from disturbing the opening operation of a lid body 2. SOLUTION: The storage device comprises: a lid 2 for moving between an open position and a closed position; the protruding member 3 moving between an retracted position and an protruded position; a link means 4 connected to the lid 2 and the protruding member 3, storing a biasing force in association with a closing operation of the lid 2, and moving the protruding member 3 from the retracted position to the protruded position with the biasing force; and a lock means 5 to be moved between a lock position for latching the link means 4 in which the biasing force is accumulated and a release position for releasing the latch with the link means 4. The lock means 5 moves from the lock position to the release position when the lid 2 moves from the closed position to the open position. Firstly, the lid 2 moves from the closed position to the open position, and then the protruding member 3 moves from the retracted position to the protruded position. Thus, the storage device is operated with good appearance, and the protruding member 3 or a load stored in the protruding member 3 does not disturbs the opening operation of the lid 2.
