A system and a method for designing confectionery over Internet are provided to conveniently receive the cake of a design wanted by a practical user by manufacturing the cake virtually designed over Internet at a bakery. A method for designing confectionery over Internet includes the steps of: displaying a type and a shape of the confectionery, and a plurality of decoration items which can be decorated on the confectionery on a user's computer(S303); selecting the type and shape of the confectionery which a user desires, and the decoration items which the user desires among the decoration items, and designing the confectionery in the manner of dragging and dropping the selected item(S304); accumulating a product cost whenever the decoration item is selected(S305); selecting a branch and a date which the user wants to receive the confectionery among associated confectioner's shops when designing the confectionery is completed(S306), and settling the product cost(S307); and transmitting the completed design to the selected branch after the settlement is completed(S308).
