<p>Motor vehicle systems equipped with a load-response function, need to take precautions so as to avoid the load on the generator becoming too high, for example by regulating the output voltage of an electric generator driven by the combustion engine, in which the load response function is activated during travel. For the keeping voltage of the electrical system constant in a vehicle with the combustion engine and a generator controlled via a regulator which is assigned with a load-response function, which can be activated or deactivated according to specific conditions. During a gear change, initiated via a clutch- and gear-control (3) at an automatic transmission gear box at the controller (8) of the generator (10), the load response function (32) is deactivated.</p> |
