The instrument has a housing (3) attached with a support (5) in a zone of an inner wall of a hollow cross section, and a button pin (9) axially adjustable at the housing. A hollow grip handle (4) is arranged orthogonal to the button pin at the housing, and a tappet (11) is arranged within the grip handle in an axially adjustable manner and effectively connected with an edge deflector (10) and with a display device. The deflector is formed in such a manner that the deflector deflects pin movement and transmits/routes the movement to the tappet.
