An imaging member and an electrophotographic imaging method using the imaging member are provided to improve carrier charge transport property, thereby increasing the velocity of an imaging apparatus such as a printer, a copier, etc. An imaging member comprises at least one charge transport layer which comprises a terphenyl diamine charge transport component comprising an N,N'-bis(methylphenyl)-N,N'-bis[4-(n-butyl)phenyl]-[p-terphenyl]-4,4-diamine isomer represented by the formula 1, and a polymer binder resin, wherein R1 is a methyl group at o-, m- or p-position; and R2 is a butyl group.
