The endoscopic capsule (7) has an induction coil (2) with a pronounced elongation along one axis (5) for the supply of energy to endoscopic capsule. The magnetic dipole moment (6) of a magnetic element interacts with an external magnetic field for navigation of the endoscopic capsule. The magnetic dipole moment is aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the induction coil. A cross sectional area (II,IV,V,VII) of the endoscopic capsule is aligned in the direction of the induction coil longitudinal axis. The cross sectional area of the endoscopic capsule has a section (II4,IV4,V4,VII4) through the magnetic element and another section through the induction coil. The magnetic element (4) is expanded in both directions of the induction coil longitudinal axis such that it overlaps the induction coil.
