<p>The process to destroy asbestos coated metallic body, comprises cutting the body by using a laser power generator beam to obtain small pieces, coating the pieces and joining the coated pieces in a plasma closed oven at 1400-4500[deg]C. The coating step is carried out by enclosing the pieces in a blister and spraying a layer of varnish. The power generator has 5-50 kW. The oven is equipped with an airlock to prevent the releasing of heat to the atmosphere when its opening.</p> |
