<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper valve and a hydraulic power steering device using the damper valve capable of easily obtaining excellent steering characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A return passage F2 for guiding an operating fluid returned from a second chamber C2, to a first port P1 via a communicating passage 23a of a valve sleeve 23 is provided inside a casing 21. A valve member 25 for closing the communicating passage 23a is disposed in close contact with one end face of the valve sleeve 23. The valve member 25 opens the communicating passage 23a by the elastic deformation caused by a trace quantity of returned operating fluid according to the flow. When the operating fluid is returned at the fixed flow or more, the valve member 25 is moved together with a spool 22 against the energizing force of a compression spring 26 to open the return passage F2 further larger according to the flow of the operating fluid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
