A glasses system for performing an operation with an endoscope is provided to allow a doctor to perform the operation in an easy posture with observing the inner part of a patient through a small-sized display. A glasses system for performing an operation with an endoscope includes an endoscope(1), a controller(2), a monitor(3) and glasses(4). The endoscope has a camera lens(1a) at the front end thereof, a plurality of lens(1b), a surgical instrument penetrating hole(1c), and a camera signal processor(1d), which converts the light input from the camera lens(1a) into an electric signal, at the rear end thereof, and is inserted into the inner part of a patient. The controller is connected to the camera signal processor of the endoscope to output the electric signal of the camera signal processor as an image signal. The monitor is connected to the controller to output the image signal of the controller as an image. The glasses has a small-sized display(4a) which is connected to the controller to output the image signal of the controller as the image.
