PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter which has a structure to allow relatively easy production and with which the improvement in the slip with a guide wire and the improvement in the responsiveness of balloon are possible. SOLUTION: This balloon catheter 1 has a first tube 11 having an internal cavity to constitute a fluid feed and discharge path, a second tube 12 having an internal cavity to constitute the insertion path for the guide wire 19 and the balloon 13 expanded/shrunk by the fluid fed and discharged via the internal cavity of the first tube 11. The first tube 11 and the second tube 12 are respectively separately formed tube materials and are fixed to each other in the state of arranging part 11a on the distal end side of the first tube 11 and part 12a of the proximal end side of the second tube 12 in parallel. The balloon 13 is fixed to the outer periphery of the second tube 12 in the state of communicating the distal end opening 11b of the first tube 11 with the inside. |
