An avian influenza sterilizing composition is provided to be freely sprayed to a place with foul odor in a gel, spray, dispenser or aerosol form, thereby removing foul odor and disinfecting foul odor generating places such as a stable. A composition for sterilizing pathogenic avian influenza comprises 40-60 parts by weight of sodium metasilicate, 45-70 parts by weight of potassium carbonate, 1-4 parts by weight of potassium citrate, 1-3 parts by weight of borax, and 10-60 parts by weight of white sugar regarding 100 parts by weight of water. A method for preparing the composition comprises the steps of: (a) putting 40-60 parts by weight of sodium metasilicate in 100 parts by weight of water at a temperature of 80-100 deg.C with heating and uniformly agitating to dissolve it; (b) putting 45-70 parts by weight of potassium carbonate in the solution obtained from the step(a) with uniformly agitating to dissolve it; (c) putting 1-4 parts by weight of potassium citrate in the solution obtained from the step(b) with uniformly agitating to dissolve it; (d) putting 1-3 parts by weight of borax in the solution obtained from the step(c) with uniformly agitating to dissolve it; and (e) putting 10-60 parts by weight of white sugar in the solution obtained from the step(d) with uniformly agitating to dissolve it. |
