The device has a capacitor (C2), and a voltage supply terminal (VCC) at which a supply voltage is applied. The capacitor and the voltage supply terminal are connected at a D-flip-flop in a common circuit point (P). The flip-flop maintains an on-state of a terminal, when the voltage does not fall below a predetermined value at the capacitor. A metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) (M1) is switched between the voltage supply terminal and the common circuit point such that the common circuit point is separable from the supply voltage.
