NETWORK INITIATED AREA EVENT TRIGGERED POSITIONING METHOD FOR ROAMING TERMINAL IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

An area-based location verification method of a roaming terminal in a mobile communication system is provided to solve a problem of the related art that an area-based location verification of a loaming terminal based on a SUPL is not suggested. The first server transmits a message of session initialization used to initialize a trigger session to a roaming terminal. A session starting message is received from the roaming terminal. The second server requests and obtains location identifiers of an area related to area-based location verification. A session response message including at least trigger parameter is transmitted to the roaming terminal. The location verification initializing message is received from the roaming terminal and delivered to the second server. A calculated location value of the roaming terminal is received from the second server and delivered to the roaming terminal. The calculated location value is provided to an agent if the location value is received from the roaming terminal.
