The invention refers to the mechanical engineering and may be used for preparing dry, semi-dry, mortar and concrete plasticized and hard mixtures. A batch-type mixer comprises a horizontally installed onto supports (6) body (1) with a semi-cylindrical bottom, into the end walls of which is mounted a shaft (3) with mixing members, made in the form of rods (2) situated radially and in staggered order on the shaft (3). The ends of the rods (2), except the rods of two longitudinal diametrically opposite rows, are bent in the axes of the shaft (3) plane at an angle in the opposite directions, and the end surface of the bent rod end is perpendicular to the rod axis. On the shaft (3), nearby the body (1) side walls, there are fixed radial scrapers (7) inclined thereto at the angle of 45?. The projections of the rods ends and of the scrapers onto any plane being parallel to the shaft axis overlap, and the distance from the rods ends and the scrapers up to the body (1) internal surface and the distance from the radial scrapers up to the body (1) side walls does not exceed 3à4 mm. The result of the invention consists in broadening the mixer body inside cleaning zone.
