Synchronous rectifier and method for the operation of a synchronous rectifier

The rectifier-circuit has a metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (S1) provided with a parasitic diode (D1) for rectification. Another metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (S2) is controlled synchronous to the metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (S1). The field-effect transistor (S2) is arranged with a parasitic diode (D2) in series with the field-effect transistor (S1) such that the passage direction of the diode (D2) is opposite to the passage direction of the diode (D1). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a synchronous rectifier-circuit.
