A zooming system is provided to improve an image quality by increasing a magnification ratio of a zoom lens according to a beam ratio of a searchlight. A xenon lamp(22) is coupled with a center through-hole of a reflective mirror and moved back and forth. A searchlight housing includes a lamp driver for moving the xenon lamp. A video camera is arranged on the searchlight housing. A base housing includes a moving unit for moving the searchlight housing. A controller includes a control circuit for controlling the moving unit, the lamp driver, and the video camera. An optical lens assembly is attached in front of the video camera and includes a zoom lens. A lamp driving motor(23) moves the xenon lamp back and forth according to an electrical signal. A first sensor measures a moving distance of the lamp. A microcomputer(200) includes first and second comparators(210,220). |
