FAULT DIAGNOSER FOR VOLTAGE SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently diagnose the fault of a voltage sensor without applying a voltage, etc. for a fault diagnosis.

SOLUTION: The voltage sensor 15 of this fault diagnoser computes the output Pac1 of an AC motor 6 based on three-phase AC voltage commands vu*, vv*and vw*of an inverter 4, and current detected values iu, iv and iw of the current sensors 9a-9c, and computes the output Pac2 of the AC motor 6 based on a torque command Tmg and motor rotational speed ω. If the computed output Pac1 and the computed Pac2 do not accord with each other, it is determined that a fault has occurred in the inverter voltage sensor 5.
