<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing even when hardware exclusive for image processing inside a printer is omitted or the specification of an MPU for executing software is lowered. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 connected to a network is provided with a function for utilizing web services provided by external equipment, and a processing means 10 performing processing in combination of the web services provided by the external equipment and functions inside the printer 1 is provided. A process description document 11 describing a procedure for utilizing the web services provided by the external equipment and the functions inside the printer 1 is prepared, the process description document 11 is configured such that the processing means 10 can understand and execute it, image processing web services corresponding to the printer 1 are prepared in the external equipment, and the process sentence is described so as to perform printing by utilizing various kinds of the image processing web services. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
