PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling device capable of performing a control for a changing-over operation by a simple system while automatically performing a changing-over operation from a filling of liquid into a spray can to a filling of air. SOLUTION: This filling device 1 is constructed and operated such that a first space S1 communicated with a spray can 100 and accumulated with solvent is arranged between the inner wall surface of an end wall 24a of a solvent cylinder 24 and the end surface of a first pushing part 25a opposing against the inner wall surface, the first pushing part 25a is moved toward the first space S1 to cause solvent to be extruded out of the first space S1 and filled in the spray can 100, thereafter the first pushing part 25a abuts against a switch mechanism 23, motion of the first pushing part 25a is stopped to cause filing of liquid into the spray can 100 to be stopped and at the same time an air supplying passage is released by the switch mechanism 23 and then air is filled in the spray can 100 through the air supplying passage.
