<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of improving absorbency of gas generated by decomposition of an electrolytic solution in high-temperature storage, and having an excellent cycle characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a positive electrode 22, a negative electrode 23, a separator 24 and a gel electrolyte layer 25. The negative electrode 23 has a negative electrode mix layer 23B. The negative electrode mix layer 23B contains mesocarbon microbeads (MCMB) and a vapor-grown carbon fiber (VGCF), wherein the mass ratio of the vapor-grown carbon fiber (VGCF) to the mesocarbon microbeads (MCMB) 100 is 3.1-5.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
