PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which can be shortened in an optical axis direction, whose diameter is made small and which is miniaturized as a whole, especially, which is applied to a monitor camera or an in-vehicle camera while securing the high optical performance of a wide angle lens and contriving common use to hold the wide angle lens having a different viewing angle and the reduction of cost associated with the common use. SOLUTION: The lens barrel is equipped with a lens barrel main body 10 holding a plurality of lenses in the optical direction, and lens pressing members 20 and 20' pressing the lenses held in the lens barrel main body. The lens barrel main body 10 includes a first inner peripheral surface 11 penetrating in the optical axis direction L, and a second inner peripheral surface 12 having a larger inside diameter than the first inner peripheral surface and opening to the front end face 14 in the optical axis direction L, and the lens pressing members are formed as annular caps 20 and 20' coupled with the lens barrel main body 10 so as to press the front surfaces S1 of the first lenses 30 and 30' at least a part of which is fit in the second inner peripheral surface 12 in an area more inside in a radial direction than the second inner peripheral surface 12 or more outside in the radial direction than the second inner peripheral surface 12.
