PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution of a yarn heating apparatus suitable for high-speed heat treatment of the yarn. SOLUTION: The yarn heating apparatus 5 is equipped with rollers 6a and 6b for stretching the yarn 2 therearound, induction heating coils 22 and 22 as a heating means and electric motors 21 and 21 for rotating and driving the rollers 6a and 6b. Furthermore, the rollers 6a and 6b are provided with cylindrical parts 31 for stretching the yarn 2 therearound and flange parts 32 for connecting the cylindrical parts 31 to output shafts 23 of the electric motors 21, respectively. The induction heating coils 22 are arranged on the outside of the rollers 6a and 6b to heat the rollers 6a and 6b with the induction heating coils 22. Thereby, the yarn 2 is heated. A gap g between the induction heating coils 22 and the rollers is preferably≥5 to≤30 mm. The flange parts 32 are arranged within the central range in the shaft direction of the rollers 6a and 6b.
