METHOD FOR IMPROVING IMMUNOLOGICAL STATUS OF PIGLETS OF EARLY AGE WHILE CORRECTING IRON-DEFICIENT RATIONS OF BROOD SOWS

A method for improving the immunological status of piglets of early age while correcting iron-deficient rations of brood sows includes adding bivalent iron into a ration of the sows deficit by iron salts. A chelate compound of iron and amino acid methionine, in particular iron methionate is used in a rate of 0.6-0.8 mg/kg of the mass of the body weight which is dissolved in warm water added to the feed thoroughly mixing, and fed to the brood sows in the course of the last month of pregnancy thereof and of two weeks of the sucking period of growing of new-born young animals.
