An screw extruder for obtaining the briquettes contains a housing of press located on the bearing surface, a feed bin with measuring hopper, a drive, a drive shaft connected with established along the axis of the channel of extrusion feeding worm conveyor, pressing conical screw equipped with conical shank, which forms a matrix located at the end of the wall of channel of extrusion. In the channel of extrusion on the cylindrical section between feed and pressing worm conveyors is located a permeated for vapor and liquid chamber with openings located on its circle, for example, longitudinal slit openings formed by laths. Along the axis along the channel of extrusion a worm conveyor for crushing of raw material and a worm conveyor of preliminary extrusion and warming-up of the processed mass are installed successively and to the outlet end of said chamber a working chamber is connected with possibility of reciprocating displacement in the axial direction which has conical internal surface connected with conical surface of the turns of the worm conveyor of preliminary extrusion and warming-up of the processed mass and with conical surface of the turns of pressing worm conveyor.
