PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal metal fitting in which a tongue piece and a stabilizer can be prevented to deform inadvertently when terminal metal fittings contact with each other and a stabilizer of one of the terminal metal fittings enters into, or hooking, a slit of the other terminal metal fitting. SOLUTION: On an external conductor 40 of a shield terminal T to be used in connection with a shield cable 10, there is provided a stabilizer 46 of which the extended end is folded halfway to face a side of a main body 41. Even if the shield terminals (the external conductors) contact with each other during transportation, an end of the stabilizer 46 becomes thicker with the folded end compared with a conventional one and hardly enters into, or hooks, the slit 43 of the other conductor 40 and the tongue piece 44 and the stabilizer 46 can be prevented to deform inadvertently.
