PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a school route security system dispensing with a child's operation in the position of a crime-prevention lamp. SOLUTION: The school route security system comprises: a sensor node 11 with a built-in acceleration sensor carried by a commuting child 12, the node having the function of performing abnormal report with a sensor node ID when no acceleration is detected by the acceleration sensor for a fixed time and the function of performing regular report with the sensor node ID at fixed time intervals; a base station 21 set at predetermined distance intervals along a school route 43, the base station receiving the abnormal report and regular report from the sensor node 11, and transmitting the received abnormal report and regular report with sensor node ID to a data center device 31 through a network 5 while adding a base station ID or base station position information thereto; and the data center device 31 which receives the abnormal report and regular report with the sensor node ID and the base station ID or base station position information transmitted by the base station 21.
