Further, the electrooptical device is equipped with a data line driving circuit 101 which outputs the sampling signal Si, a plurality of TFTs 30 which are electrically connected to the plurality of pixel electrodes 9a, and a scanning line driving circuit 104 which supplies a scanning signal Gi switching a TFT 30 from an on state to an off state to the plurality of scanning lines 11a in timing shifting from the timing wherein the image signal VID is inverted in polarity by a predetermined periodΔT2.
