PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal which can be provided with functions of image projection together with those of a camera and illuminating lamp and besides whose cost overrun due to the increasing number of components can be constrained. SOLUTION: There is provided the mobile communication terminal 100 which is equipped with an LED 131, a diffuse irradiation optical system 160 which diffuses light emitted from the LED 131 to irradiate uniformly on an external irradiation surface, a camera unit 140 which converts an optical image into an electric signal to produce image data, and a camera image providing optical system 150 for providing an optical image of a photographic subject on the camera unit 140. In the mobile communication terminal 100, there is provided a liquid-crystal panel 132 for modulating light emitted from the LED 131. Then, the camera image providing optical system 150 is used both as its own function and a projection image providing optical system which provides the optical image emitted from the liquid-crystal panel 132 on an external projection surface 200 to thereby perform projection, while the LED 131 and the liquid-crystal panel 132 are used both as light production of a diffusion irradiation object and a light image production of the optical image of the photographic subject.
