PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection welding method which can suppress fluctuation of compressing amount, when the projection is compressed. SOLUTION: In the projection welding, a projection 30c on a first member 30 having the protrusion type projection 30c is brought into contact with a second member 35b facing the first member 30 each other. Then the first member 30 and the second member 35b are joined by applying vertical pressure on the contacting face to compress the projection 30c while conducting electricity to the contacting face. In the process, a stopper 30d is arranged to limit access of the second member 35b to the first member after the projection 30c is compressed to a designated amount. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
