PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a dazzling state for a driver.

SOLUTION: A visual line direction detection part 122 detects the direction of the driver's vidual line based on a tracking result by a tracking part 121 for the driver's face imaged by an internal monitoring camera 111. A light dazzle detection part 125 extracts a visual field image of an area of a predetermined range around the center of the driver's visual field from a forward image of the vehicle taken by a forward monitoring camera 112 based on the detected direction of the driver's visual line, and detects a state where a strong light is emitted to the driver's eyes. The present invention is applicable to a driving support device.
