<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive controller which suppresses noise generated by combination between a motor and a load coupled with the motor without adding a mechanism for reducing the noise. <P>SOLUTION: This motor drive controller is equipped with a small-capacity capacitor 5 which is connected between output lines of a rectifier circuit 4 using an AC power source 2 as its input, an inverter circuit 7 which drives a motor 8 being connected with the capacitor 5, and a control unit 6 which controls a current flowing to the motor 8 via the inverter circuit 7. The control unit 6 decreases the current flowing in the motor 8 at the center of the half cycle of the AC power source 2. The controller controls the noise generated between the motor 8 and the load 9 attached to the motor 8, even in the case that the frequency of the AC power source 2 is different such as 50 Hz and 60 Hz, without adding a mechanism for reducing noise that is generated when the natural frequency of the load 9 attached to the motor 8 and the oscillation frequency of the motor 8 itself generated from the control cycle proportionate to the rotational speed of the motor 8 approximate to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
