PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution film forming method which avoids the sheet trouble of a film caused by the scattering of the fixing preventing solution of a dope and enabling the high speed formation of a film. SOLUTION: A nozzle 61a is provided to the side end part of a casting die 30, and piping 72b, a partition plate 85 and an air shielding seal plate 88 are provided above the scattering direction of the solution in a vacuum chamber 36. The casting die 30 allows the dope to flow out to the surface of a casting drum 32 and a cast bead 21a is formed between the casting die 30 and the casting drum 32 by the dope. Nozzles 61a and 61b supply the solidification preventing solution of the dope to the side end part 21b of the cast bead 21a. The cast bead 21a is evacuated on its back side by the vacuum chamber 36 and the solution is scattered into the vacuum chamber 36 along with evacuation. Piping 72b sucks the scattered solution, and the partition plate 85 and the air shielding seal plate 88 receive the scattered solution on a lug part 99a.
