PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker for which a trip button cannot be operated when an operation handle is locked in an output ON state. SOLUTION: A first fitting recessed part 9a is formed on the back surface of the operation handle 4 arranged on the upper surface of a breaker case 1; a second fitting recessed part 9b is formed on the front surface thereof; the operation handle 4 can be locked at either of the ON position and the OFF position by inserting a lock member into the exposed one-side fitting recessed part; a trip button 8 is arranged on the upper surface of the breaker case 1 adjacent to the second fitting recessed part 9b; and, when the operation handle is locked in the ON state by inserting the lock member 5 into the second fitting recessed part 9b, the lock member 5 is made to cover the trip button 8.
