PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warmup promoting device having a simple pipe structure for heating an oil for lubrication when an internal combustion engine is started. SOLUTION: This warmup promoting device comprises an oil path for guiding the lubricating oil of the internal combustion engine to an exhaust pipe and returning it to the internal combustion engine via an oil heating part installed on the inner part or the outer periphery of the exhaust pipe and a control valve for opening and closing the oil path extending toward the oil heating part according to an oil temperature. An oil return path arranged continuously with the oil outlet of the oil heating part is so tilted as to be lowered from the end of the oil heating part toward the oil return side.
