PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral-type film element capable of not only improving the barrier property of a fiber reinforcing resin layer using a fiber winding as a reinforcing phase but also effectively preventing the occurrence of crack. SOLUTION: The spiral-type film element comprises a cylindrical winding body (R) having a stack of a separation film, a supply side flow channel member, and a transmission side flow channel member wound in a spiral around a perforated center tube (5) and a sealing portion for preventing a supply side fluid and a transmission side fluid from mixing with each other. In this spiral-type film element, a fiber-reinforced resin layer (26) using a fiber winding as a reinforcing phase is formed on the outer side of the cylindrical winding body (R), and a plastic layer (24) is provided inside or on the inner side of the fiber-reinforced resin layer (26) over the substantially entire length and periphery of the fiber-reinforced resin layer (26).
