<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize medical information on a database with medical information described on a paper medical chart. <P>SOLUTION: When data of an electronic medical chart 150 is directly changed not by an electronic pen 200 but through a keyboard, another input means, the association with a paper medical chart 100 is released. When a medical record is entered described in the paper medical chart 100 by the electronic pen 200 (a), medical record data are reflected to the electronic medical chart 150 based on handwriting data by the electronic pen 200 (b). When the medical record data in the electronic medical chart 150 is directly changed (c), the association of the electronic medical chart with the paper medical chart is released (d), and a new ID is assigned to a reprinted new paper medical chart (e). When a medical record is added again to the new paper medical chart with the new ID by the electronic pen, its handwriting data are reflected to the electronic medical chart (g) to perfectly match the medical record data on the electronic medical chart with the medical record on the new paper medical chart. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
