PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of selecting a state in which mirror drive and shutter charge drive are performed, or a state in which the mirror is stopped and shutter charge drive is performed, using one built-in motor. SOLUTION: The camera 1 comprises a mirror mechanism for operating a mirror 18, a charge mechanism for charging a shutter 19, a motor 3, a first rotation member 10 that rotates receiving the driving force from the motor and drives the mirror mechanism, and a second rotation member 13 that rotates receiving the driving force from the motor and drives the charge mechanism. The camera 1 further comprises switching mechanisms 5-9 that switch between a first state and a second state according to the rotational direction of the motor. In the first state, the driving force of the motor is transmitted to the first and second rotation members, and in the second state, the driving force of the motor is transmitted to the second rotation member, but not to the first rotation member.
