PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic handle for a bottle which is firmly mountable even when the shaping accuracy of the recess for mounting the handle of a blow mold bottle is poor with insufficient rigidity. SOLUTION: This plastic handle 10 for a bottle to be mounted on the recess 5 for mounting the handle of a bottle main body 2 is provided with a holding part 11, a flexible top side arm part 12, a rigid bottom side arm part 13 and a bend preventive panel 14 extending from the top end of the part 13 to the top of the bottle. The handle 10 is pushed in the recess 5 for mounting the handle, top and bottom protrusions 16, 18 are fitted in top and bottom fitting grooves 7a, 8b, the panel 14 is pushed in and the tip end 14a of the same is fitted in the tip end fitting groove 12b of the part 12. By this, the bend of the part 12 is prevented and the condition where the handle 10 is fixed in the recess 5 on the bottle side is created. Even when the shaping accuracy of the bottom side end face 8 of the recess 5 of the bottle side is poor and when its rigidity is poor, the handle 10 is firmly fixed on the main body 2.
