PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the risk of a gas filling means interfering with other parts in handling and conveyance, without causing enlargement of the whole diameter by disposing the gas filling means. SOLUTION: In this gas-filled damper, an end member which forms the end of a damper body carrying out damping action in expanding/contracting operation while being formed in a double cylinder type hydraulic shock absorber structure having an inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 2, is formed as a bottom member 7 for closing the bottom end of the outer cylinder 2, and a gas filling means 10 allowing gas supplied from the outside of the damper body, to pass toward a gas chamber G in the damper body but impeding its back flow is disposed at the bottom member 7. The gas filling means 10 is disposed in a form of making a rear end face 10a flush with the outer surface 7a of the bottom member 7 or in a form of receding from the outer surface 7a of the bottom member 7.
