PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a universal communication adapter to which various devices are connected by USB wherein messages and documents corresponding to the devices must be created when the Discovery function and the Description function of a UPnP are used. SOLUTION: When the connection of a device to a USB interface is detected, the "Device Class" and the "Interface Class" of the device are obtained, and a message such as "Advertising" with "Device Type" and "Service Type" corresponding to them is sent to a network.
