PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pitcher capable of moving raw aqueous solution without spilling it when moving the raw aqueous solution to an electrolytic cell and retaining volatile components contained in the generated electrolytic water without volatilizing it to the outside; and an electrolytic water producing apparatus using the pitcher. SOLUTION: This pitcher 1 is formed of a container body 6 having an opened upper end and storing aqueous solution, and an upper lid 4 closing the container body 6. The upper lid 4 is attached with an opening part 3, a pitcher opening/closing part 2, and a push lever 5, the opening part 3 is closed by the pitcher opening/closing part 2, and the inside is tightly closed. The pitcher 1 can thus retain the volatile components contained in the aqueous solution in the container body 6 even if the aqueous solution contains the volatile components.
