<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device of simple structure capable of easily positioning a coupling member and a member to be coupled at the time of coupling without the necessity for a pin-point operation and also sustaining satisfactorily the towing of a heavy object. <P>SOLUTION: The coupling device 10 to couple the coupling member 11 installed in the rear of a transport vehicle 1 with a towing rod 25 installed in front of a towing truck 6 is equipped with an engagement part 14 which is provided in the rear of the coupling member 11 and arranged able to elevate and sink by an elevating/sinking means 18, whereby the engagement part is engaged with the inside of the towing rod 25 where a coupling space S wider backward is formed by sinking the engagement part 14 of the coupling member 11 by the elevating/sinking means 18, and by the advance of the transport vehicle 1, the engagement part 14 of the coupling member 11 is guided toward the forefront of the towing rod 25, and also arranged so that the towing truck 6 can be coupled by holding the engagement part by a backward return stopping means 30 and a coupled state with the towing truck 6 can be released by raising the engagement part 14 of the coupling member 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
