PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torch for an electric welding machine having an electrode rod and a welding current adjuster enabling a user to adjust welding current while pressing a torch switch. SOLUTION: The torch for the electric welding machine comprises: a torch head 3 having an electrode rod 6; a cylindrical handle 2 mounted with the torch head on its distal end and provided with a current adjuster 1 and a lead wire 1a being drawn from its rear end; a rotary operating disk 10 which is interposed between the cylindrical handle and the torch head and rotated in the direction orthogonal to the line connecting the distal end to a rear end of the cylindrical handle; and a rotor 11 which has the diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the rotary operating disk and is located on the outer circumference of the rotary operating disk, rotated following the rotation of the rotary operating disk, and connected to the current adjuster.
