PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil device which ensure waterproofness for a plug hole and then has a simple air release structure. SOLUTION: A seal member (3) has a first portion (31) to be inserted into the plug hole, a second portion (32) abutted to a cylinder head, and a third portion (36) extending upward from the first portion (31), an air release hole (33) is provided through approximately in parallel with the plug hole, and an opening part disposes a protruding opening (35) protruding from the second portion (32). A cover (4) is a member separate from the seal member (3) and includes a fourth portion (41) extending in a diameter direction and a surrounding wall part (42) extending downward from the outer circumference of the fourth portion, the fourth portion (41) is abutted to the third portion (36), and a gap is provided between the protruding opening (35) and the fourth portion (41).
