PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrong transmission while enhancing security when a confidential document is transmitted by facsimile. SOLUTION: The facsimile device 1 judges whether an inputted FAX number has been registered on a permission dial list 105a or not, and further judges whether a device ID acquired from a calling facsimile device has been registered on a permission ID list 105b or not. Only when both the inputted FAX number and the acquired device ID have been registered, document data of a confidential document read out at a reading section 102 are transmitted to the calling facsimile device by facsimile.
